Latest...Flea Market Finds <3
I was so excieted to find these this past weekend, The white iron shabby table The base is not iron ..not sure what it is? but is it heavy!...needs a cleaning and the top needs to be secured..my hubby will help with that..althrough..he really didnt want me to get it :((..The best part was..it was only $5.00..who could pass that up... lolo...not me <3
I was so excieted to find this too :)...only $20.00..it will be a project tho ..I need to get clay or something..like that and make a round swirl..above by the mirror ..to match the other side..can you see it?...any ideas ? I would love to hear them... lol..I will also paint it...the most pale pale pink? ...or... white? Iam sure I will mosaic it too <3>

I would paint it, glue or velcro some pretty white crochet trim on the edges, place your prettiest teacups & saucers, or books of poems, maybe a vintage desktop clock. A couple magazines or ... BUNNIES!

Shonna, What absolutely great finds! $5 for that table! Oh my.....
The brown shelf: a couple of ideas- no one shoot me please, but you could just cut off the other side to match the side that is broken, then paint it white. or.. How about just draping some vintage lace or doily over the edge to hide it. A very quick fix and no need to worry about clay 'breaking' off.

I love vintage!I have most of my life.As a little girl I would be in awe over things that people would throw away!When I was about twelve years old, My dad took me to work w/him,he had bought a building filled w/stuff/Junk I saw an old mirror,fell in love w/it asked him if I could have it & he said why do you want that old thing& I said I LOVE it!we took it home.I still have it.Maybe I will paint it?lol You know there are some things you just cant paint!
~I love God and My Family,I have a wonderful Husband we just got married Dec.2007 I have the most beautiful daughter that is 26 yrs old, she was married in Apr.2008 I raised her as a single mother all her life. It was just the two of us,& our little boo girl.God has blessed me more then I could ever imagined. Im so very greatful.I w/share more about my life as so much has happened this last year,from losing my brother & then my dad 3/9/09,7 months apart.But God is good and will bring us through anything!
....More to come later and I pic of that old mirror!
